Job Summary
The Aesthetician is responsible for delivering a full range of skincare and
beauty treatments — including threading, waxing, facials, and HydraFacial — to
a women-only clientele. This role combines technical skill with exceptional
client care to uphold Lavish Beauty's 5-star reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Treatments
- Perform eyebrow and facial threading with precision
- Provide waxing services (face, body, brazilian)
- Deliver customized facials based on individual skin assessment
- Perform HydraFacial treatments per protocol
- Provide brow lamination, tinting, and related beauty services
Client Care
- Conduct skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatments
- Educate clients on aftercare and retail skincare products
- Build lasting client relationships to encourage rebooking and referrals
- Address client questions and concerns professionally
Operations &* Standards*
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked treatment room
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Accurately record treatments and client notes in the booking system
- Manage appointment time efficiently to maximize the schedule
- Support retail product sales and promotions
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Aesthetics/Skincare (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in threading, waxing, and facials
- HydraFacial experience an asset (training available for the right candidate)
- Knowledge of skin types, conditions, and treatment protocols
- Valid certifications as required in Alberta
