Certified Athletic Therapist
Mickelson National, Rocky View / Part-time / Flexible$65–$80+/hr
We're growing our multidisciplinary team and looking for a passionate Athletic Therapist to help golfers, active adults, and athletes move better, recover faster, and stay in the game. This is a hands-on, relationship-centered role inside a premium golf and performance environment — not a high-volume clinic.
This is not a traditional clinic. You'll work alongside a Mastery-Level Muscle Activation Practitioner to integrate biomechanics insights that actually resolve the root cause of pain — not just manage symptoms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct on-site athletic therapy assessments and return-to-activity planning
- Deliver evidence-based manual therapy, taping, soft tissue work, and corrective exercise
- Collaborate with our Muscle Activation Practitioner to address muscular imbalances and compensation patterns
- Integrate golf biomechanics findings into individualized treatment plans
- Provide sideline and on-course support during club events and tournaments
- Support athlete preparation and recovery during premier events including the Mickelson Invitational and CAN/AMMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
- Troubleshoot complex, recurring cases with a biomechanics-informed clinical team
- Work alongside professional golfers and athletes in a private club setting
- Build genuine long-term client relationships with a small, high-trust caseload
- Exposure to TPI principles and MAT methodology — rare in a traditional AT setting
REQUIRED
- CATA certification (or eligible)
- Registered or eligible in Alberta
- CPR & First AidStrong interpersonal skills
