Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tile laying and flooring installation, with a strong ability to read blueprints and execute projects with precision.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring accurate dimensions.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive.
- Lay tiles according to design plans, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- No less than 2 year proven experience in tile laying or flooring installation is preferred. You will be asked for examples of your work.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand design specifications.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to tile setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
