We are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare surfaces, apply paint and finishes, and complete residential and/or commercial painting projects with high attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, and surfaces for painting
- Fill cracks and holes, sand, scrape, and prime surfaces
- Apply paint, varnish, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures during work
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Complete projects on time and maintain clean work areas
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Requirements
- Previous painting experience preferred
- Knowledge of painting materials and techniques
- Ability to use ladders and work at heights
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically able to lift materials and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation is an asset
- Valid driver’s license preferred
