Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator/Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a strong understanding of construction estimating processes, project management, and effective negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and profitable projects.
Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required resources.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms that align with project budgets.
- Develop comprehensive bid proposals and assist in the bidding process to secure new projects.
- Monitor market trends and update pricing databases regularly to maintain competitive edge.
- Manage and supervise project teams ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.
- Maintain organized documentation of all estimates, bids, and related correspondence for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating and management, preferably within commercial or industrial sectors.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Solid understanding of project management principles within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and pricing strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation processes.

Pay: $47,681.53-$107,196.59 per year
