Job sites can be up to an hour commute from Peterborough. Travel benefits provided once traveling further out of town.
Armstrong Contracting is looking to hire an experienced labourer. Previous ICF experience is a benefit but not required. Specializing in ICF construction, framing, renovations, structural work, as well as finish trim work - the ideal candidate should have some background in these categories. Experience is a must.
Must have own hand tools, drill, and all necessary PPE as well as a valid G license and own transportation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a labourer in the construction industry
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers- Ability to be given directions and work alone
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.
