Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join their finance team in Woodbridge, Vaughan.

What You’ll Do
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices while supporting month-end activities and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Review invoices to ensure approvals comply with Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements.
- Process and reconcile two-way and three-way purchase order invoices, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Code non-purchase order invoices accurately
- Prepare month-end accrual listings for multiple business units.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding balances.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain supplier master records, including payment terms and address updates.
- Complete weekly EDI uploads as required.Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal accounting controls.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We-re Looking for
- 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
- Experience with JD Edwards or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
- Experience with OCR and workflow software is considered an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
