Position Overview
The Embassy of Mexico is seeking a reliable, organized, and service-oriented professional to join its team as an Administrative, IT & Operations Support Officer.
This position provides essential support to the administrative and IT functions of the Embassy and contributes to the effective daily operations of the Mission. The role also includes operational support, including driving duties when required.
The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to work in a diplomatic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Assist in the management and tracking of contracts and related documentation
- Support contract renewals and compliance monitoring
- Maintain and update inventory records (office supplies and IT equipment)
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems
- Provide general administrative support to Embassy staff
IT Support Assistance
- Provide first-level technical support to Embassy personnel (hardware, software, user accounts)
- Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding processes (account setup, equipment assignment)
- Maintain inventory control of IT equipment
- Liaise with external IT service providers as necessary
- Support the documentation of IT systems and procedures
Operational & Driving Support
- Perform driving duties for official Embassy business when required
- Deliver and collect official documents, equipment, or materials
- Provide logistical support for Embassy activities and events
- Ensure proper use and care of official vehicles
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in administrative or office support roles
- Knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to perform driving and logistical duties when necessary
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Salary
Annual salary is $47,400 plus $3,950 end-of-year bonus
Pay: $47,400.00 per year
