Position Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Local Truck Drivers for night runs from MONCTON for the Maritime region. This is a full-time position offering steady miles, consistent work, and daily home time.
Pay:
$0.50 - $0.55 per mile (depends on experience)
Schedule:
5–6 days per week
Night shifts
Home daily
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver freight safely and on time within the Maritime region
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Secure and handle freight properly during loading and unloading
Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow assigned routes
Adapt to changing road and weather conditions
Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 driver’s license
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Clean driving abstract (must be maintained)
Knowledge of safety regulations and load securement
Ability to work night shifts and meet delivery schedules
Strong time management skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
