Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insulators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with various hand tools and materials.
Red Seal Insulators
- Start Date: June 15th
- Location: Chemainus, Vancouver Island
- Schedule: 5 days a week, 10 hours/day
- Lenght: 6 weeks +
- Rate:51.77
Tickets: MEWP/AWP, Fall Protection, Trades Ticket
Description of Essential Duties
- Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation on all types of industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine appropriate insulation requirements.
- Select the amount and type of insulation to be installed, as well as confirm the method of ensuring the insulation depending on the specifications of the structure.
- Measure and cut insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimensions.
- Install vapor barriers and finish insulated surfaces by applying metal cladding, canvas, PVC or cement.

- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be knowledgeable in various types of insulation used in an industrial area.
