Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our technology support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining network infrastructure. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and proficiency across various operating systems and networking environments. The IT Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems and supporting end-users effectively.
Duties
- Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices across Windows, Dell desktop, laptop
- Troubleshoot hardware issues related to computers, peripherals, and network equipment
- Assist with software troubleshooting including Microsoft Office applications and other enterprise tools
- Configure and maintain network components such as LAN, firewall settings, and VPN connections
- Expert on OUTLOOK,OFFICE,ADOBE, trouble shooting
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to prevent outages
- Assist end-users via help desk support channels with technical issues related to operating systems, software, or hardware
- Collaborate with network administrators to resolve connectivity issues and optimize network performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Office, and Outlook environments
- Experience with troubleshooting desktop hardware components and peripherals
- Proficiency in using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy for incident management
- Strong understanding of software troubleshooting techniques and operating system functionalities
- Knowledge of security protocols including firewall management and VPN setup
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist end-users at all levels of technical expertise
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred but not required
