We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to sanitation protocols
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and positive feedback
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and billing calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and ability to engage guests effectively
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks when necessary
- Experience in serving required as well as the ability to work without supervision
