Custom Courier Co. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our Flat Deck Division team.
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating local and provincial deliveries, assigning work to our fleet contractors, and ensuring timely, efficient service to our customers. This role is ideal for a flexible, positive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every day presents new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer customer phone calls and respond to delivery requests.
- Provide rate quotes for potential deliveries.
- Coordinate and dispatch delivery requests to fleet contractors.
- Monitor deliveries, troubleshoot, and resolve logistical issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience or knowledge of the transportation, logistics, or courier industry is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer applications.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues to solve problems and improve operations.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety and accuracy.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
