Duties
- Operate two walkie stackers simultaneously to pick, pack, and transport inventory throughout the warehouse
- Perform precise order picking using warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when moving large or bulky items
- Use clamp trucks and forklifts as needed to manage various types of warehouse equipment and materials
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as order pickers and mechanical tools to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain detailed logs of inventory movements, order completion, and equipment usage
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including double walkie stackers, clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory counts
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and operating machinery throughout shifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and tracking
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive communication skills for team coordination
