We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position involves both shop fabrication work and field installations/repairs.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in welding, metal fabrication, and working independently on job sites when required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metal components
- Fabricate and assemble parts from blueprints and shop drawings
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, presses, and cutting tools
- Install and repair fabricated components at field job sites
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Welder/Fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding
- Strong fabrication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (required for field work)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Assets (Not Required but Beneficial):
- CWB certification
- Experience with heavy equipment repair or structural fabrication
- Experience working on field installations or service calls
