We are currently seeking motivated, dependable, and hardworking labourers to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Shop Duties
- Perform general labour duties related to rim manufacturing, overhaul, and repair
- Disassemble and reassemble heavy-duty mining wheel and rim assemblies
- Operate grinders, hand tools, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment
- Sandblast components to prepare surfaces for inspection and painting
- Apply industrial coatings and paint to finished products
- Assist Certified Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technicians with inspections and testing activities
- Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the shop
- Assist welders and fabricators with production activities as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and company safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, construction, mining, automotive, or industrial labour experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Experience operating grinders, hand tools, or power tools is an asset
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn new skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
- Positive attitude, dependable, and able to work well within a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage: $22.00–$26.00/hour, based on experience
