Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of security personnel, ensure adherence to security protocols, and maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of surveillance systems, and a background in law enforcement or related fields. The Security Supervisor will play a critical role in loss prevention and incident response, utilizing CCTV and other security tools to monitor and protect the premises.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel to ensure effective coverage and response.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Oversee surveillance operations using CCTV systems to monitor activity and investigate incidents.
- Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols across all areas of the organization.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Lead investigations related to theft, vandalism, or other security concerns, documenting findings thoroughly.
- Train new security staff on surveillance equipment, loss prevention techniques, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain detailed reports on security activities, incidents, and investigations for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, private security, or related fields with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), loss prevention strategies, and security protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
- Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately during emergencies or security breaches.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and coordinating with law enforcement agencies if needed.
- Certifications in security management or law enforcement training are a plus.
- Must be vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe environment at all times.
Pay: $15.64-$30.40 per hour
