Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Junk Removal & Demolition Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient removal of debris, unwanted materials, and demolition tasks on various job sites. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. Prior experience in demolition or junk removal is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of debris, furniture, appliances, and construction materials from trucks or work sites
- Perform heavy lifting to move materials safely and efficiently
- Support demolition activities by helping dismantle structures under supervision
- Operate or assist in operating vehicles such as trucks or trailers for material transport
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license preferred (but not required) for operating company vehicles or assisting with transportation needs
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Prior experience in junk removal, demolition, or construction is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Physical stamina and strength necessary for demanding manual labor tasks
Compensation
This role pays $16.00/hour base plus 50% of tips, which typically brings average earnings to about $22.00+/hour.
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
