Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings relating to railway systems.
- Conducting tests to validate system functionality against requirements and identifying and resolving system malfunctions or discrepancies.
- Making sure that systems adhere to industry standards and regulations, including security and privacy protocols.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, often requiring collaboration with other engineers and stakeholders.
- Working closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective system integration.
- Recommending and implementing system enhancements, including upgrades and patches, to improve performance and security.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and system manuals.
Key Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering.
- EIT designation is required.
- Experience in managing projects in complex multi-threaded environments.
- Minimum of three years of experience in engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Platform, including creating workflows and apps.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The expected annual salary range for this Vancouver-based role is $60,000 to $100,000 CAD. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market factors. Your compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus plan, company events and activities throughout the year, professional development opportunities and extended health and dental benefits.
