Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime Available)
Pay: $66,000 - $150,000
About the Role
Quantum Equipment LTD is seeking a skilled Shop Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing service team in Calgary. You'll work on a diverse fleet of commercial trucks, construction equipment, and heavy machinery in our modern, well-equipped facility. What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Perform preventive maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment
Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software
Complete detailed service documentation
Maintain a safe, organized work area
Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals
What We're Looking For
Required:
Valid Alberta Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification or Red Seal
5+ years of hands-on heavy equipment repair experience
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Valid driver's license with clean record
Preferred:
Class 1 or Class 3 license
Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, or Detroit Diesel engines
Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting expertise
Welding/fabrication skills
