Freelance Outbound Advertising Sales Representative
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freelance Outbound Advertising Sales Representative to help expand our advertiser network and connect brands with high-impact marketing opportunities.
This contract-based opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and working independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, pitching advertising solutions, and closing new business through outbound sales efforts.
Please note: This is primarily an outbound sales role focused on new business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
- Identify and engage businesses, agencies, and marketing decision-makers.
- Present and sell advertising solutions, including digital advertising, sponsorship opportunities, and branded content.
- Assess client marketing objectives and recommend customized advertising packages.
- Build, manage, and maintain a sales pipeline while achieving activity and revenue targets.
- Track outreach efforts, sales activities, and opportunities within the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales messaging, offerings, and client success initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospects and clients to foster long-term business relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close new advertising partnerships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital advertising sales, media sales, or online advertising.
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales and business development.
- Experience selling advertising inventory, sponsorships, or digital media solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working toward sales targets and performance metrics.
- Highly motivated, resilient, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Portfolio of clients and agencies
- Experience selling website advertising inventory or digital sponsorship opportunities.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising, advertising agencies, or media buying organizations.
- Have a
- Basic understanding of SEO and website traffic growth strategies.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress.
