Duties:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Instruct apprentices
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures and other establishments

- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated
- Good problem‑solving skills and adaptability on site
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Excellent blueprint reading and layout skills
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
- Able to mentor apprentices and collaborate in a team environment
