Overview
TruTech Precision Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector – CMM Programming to join our team specializing in aerospace and precision machining. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of quality control and assurance for our complex components. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, expertise in quality management, and proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers. Responsibilities
- Develop and program Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct detailed quality inspections using CMM equipment, calipers, and other measurement tools.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, or deviations from specifications.
- Perform thorough quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management, quality control, and quality inspection within manufacturing or aerospace environments.
- Strong knowledge of CMM programming and operation, with familiarity with software such as PC-DMIS or equivalent.
- Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers and other precision instruments.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting inspection data and making informed decisions.
- Experience in data collection and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001 is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate attention to detail, and uphold high standards of accuracy.
