Adokam Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and engaging female Caregiver/Health Care Aide to provide one-on-one support for a wonderful child in her home.

Okotoks, Alberta
Pay
$19–$22/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive one-on-one supervision
- Assist with meals and snacks following family instructions
- Support hydration through G-tube must be trained and competent in using G Tube
- Engage in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, walker and standing frame as needed
- Monitor for signs of aspiration or respiratory distress
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment
- Complete daily care notes and communicate with parents
- Perform light housekeeping related to the child's care
Qualifications
- Health Care Aide (HCA), Child & Youth Care Worker, Educational Assistant, LPN, or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting children with developmental disabilities is an asset
- Experience with Down syndrome, G-tubes, feeding support, or aspiration precautions is highly preferred
- Current First Aid & CPR (Level C)
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Reliable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
