Restaurant Crew Member – Osmow’sJob Overview
We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic Osmow’s team. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to restaurant standards, including basic food preparation and plating
- Operate POS systems (such as Micros POS) for order processing and cashiering duties
- Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience in food service or the restaurant industry (required)
- Fluent in English (speaking and understanding)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is an asset
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.40-$18.14 per hour
