We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Deep Tissue Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform deep tissue massage sessions tailored to individual client needs, focusing on targeted muscle groups.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized massage plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend stretches or exercises as appropriate.
- Keep detailed records of treatments and client progress for future reference.
- Ensure client comfort and address any concerns or questions throughout the session.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and trusting environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs, and explain treatment procedures.
- Ability to listen actively and demonstrate empathy towards clients’ concerns.
- Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
- Physical stamina and strength necessary for performing deep tissue massage techniques over extended periods.
