This role combines event operations, customer service, logistics, technology, and creative work. One day you might be preparing equipment for multiple events, the next you'll be building AI photo experiences or attending a corporate event.
No two days are exactly the same.
This is a hybrid role, with work taking place in a variety of environments:
- From home completing administrative tasks, client communication, and event preparation
- At our warehouse near Sherway Gardens (South Etobicoke) preparing equipment, organizing inventory, and testing event setups
- On-site at exciting events throughout the Greater Toronto Area, representing Polar Ice and ensuring exceptional guest experiences
This is a full-time contract position with the opportunity to become a permanent member of our growing team.

We've worked with brands including Bell, Pepsi, Delta Air Lines, Amazon and many others.

What You'll Do
Event Execution
- Transport equipment to events
- Set up and operate photobooths
- Interact with guests and create a fun experience
- Troubleshoot equipment during events
- Pack down and return equipment
Event Preparation
- Prepare equipment for upcoming events
- Program and configure photobooth software
- Test printers, cameras, lighting and software
- Prepare AI experiences and event-specific settings
- Ensure staff have everything required before each event
Operations
- Organize inventory and equipment
- Maintain equipment to company standards
- Keep storage areas clean and organized
- Assist with quality control processes
Remote Event Support
- Monitor active events remotely
- Assist staff with troubleshooting
- Review image quality and guest experience
- Help resolve issues in real time
Administrative Support
- Respond to client emails
- Call clients with questions before events
- Assist with scheduling and logistics
- Prepare proposals and event documentation
Creative Projects
- Create event mockups
- Use AI tools to create custom experiences
- Assist with marketing materials
- Support new product development
Company Growth
- Help improve systems and processes
- Assist with special projects
- Travel occasionally for out-of-town events (paid)
- Take on new responsibilities as the company grows

Requirements
- Valid G or G2 driver's licence
- Access to a reliable 4-door vehicle
- Comfortable lifting approximately 60 lbs
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to travel occasionally for events
Bonus (Not Required)
Experience in any of the following is considered an asset:
- Events
- Customer service
- Photography
- Marketing
- Graphic design
- AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
- Video editing
- CRM or project management software
Compensation
- Competitive salary based on experience ($45,000-$55,000 annual equivalent)
- Paid training

- Paid travel when required
