Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting and moving items, assisting with loading and unloading, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, and heavy lifting, with strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for local or regional moves, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload items using proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment as needed for handling heavy or bulky items
- Assist customers with their belongings, providing courteous and professional service
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding schedules, deliveries, and special instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during moving operations
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate and drive 5-ton trucks
- Load and unload residential and commercial moves efficiently
- Lead a small team of movers on-site
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Represent the company with pride and integrity
