We are seeking a hands-on Lead Low Voltage Technician & Estimator who can support both project execution and project estimation.
This role is ideal for someone who understands installation, can review project requirements, estimate materials and labor, coordinate suppliers, and oversee project delivery.
Responsibilities
Technical & Site Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and surveys
- Review client requirements
- Assess installation requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors and installation teams
- Support commissioning and system testing
- Troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and network infrastructure systems
Estimating Responsibilities
- Review drawings and floor plans
- Prepare CCTV and access control estimates
- Calculate structured cabling requirements
- Develop bill of materials (BOM)
- Estimate labor hours and installation requirements
- Assist with proposal development
Procurement & Project Coordination
- Prepare material lists
- Coordinate supplier pricing
- Order project materials
- Track deliveries and project schedules
- Support project planning and execution
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Requirements
- Experience with CCTV systems
- Experience with Access Control Systems
- Experience with Structured Cabling (Cat6/Cat6A)
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience estimating commercial low-voltage projects
- Strong understanding of installation methods and labor requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
