Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. Duties
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and ocular health
- Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend appropriate treatments for various eye conditions
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and patient communication
- Manage patient care across different age groups, including pediatrics and senior care populations
- Use electronic health record systems such as Epic to document findings and treatment plans
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and available products or services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Assist in sales of optical products and accessories, providing expert guidance to patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and optical technology
Experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to eye health and optometry practice
- Experience working with electronic health records systems such as Epic is preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: From $500.00 per day
