Car Rental General Manager
**Location:** Metro Vancouver, BC
**Salary:** $80,000 – $120,000 per year plus performance-based bonus
About the Role:
CarCouver is seeking an experienced and results-driven Car Rental General Manager to lead and grow our vehicle rental business in Metro Vancouver.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the rental operation, including fleet management, business development, marketing, customer service, team leadership, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of the rental business and daily operations.
* Manage fleet acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and inventory.
* Develop and execute marketing and business growth strategies.
* Build and maintain corporate accounts and business partnerships.
* Monitor pricing, revenue, operating costs, and profitability.
* Lead, coach, and develop rental staff.
* Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated issues.
* Analyze KPIs and implement process improvements to drive performance.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3–5 years of car rental management experience.
* Proven experience managing rental operations, fleet utilization, and business growth.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in marketing, customer acquisition, and business development.
* Strong understanding of budgeting, revenue management, and operational performance.
* Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
