Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing their orders and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Manage cash handling, including processing payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, providing excellent guest services at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and basic food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
