Position Requirements
- Postsecondary education or equivalent training and work experience
- Active Other Than Life (OTL) General Insurance Agent License required
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
- Three to five years of related insurance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance software
- Solid understanding of the mutual insurance system and its philosophy
- Strong knowledge of commercial, farm, residential, and automobile risk evaluation, rating, coverages, and procedures
- Working knowledge of building construction materials and techniques, as well as construction pricing and estimating
- Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and diversified book of business
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of peers an asset
