Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in crop cultivation, maintenance, and farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn about various farm processes. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the success of our farming operations.
Duties
- Assist with planting, watering, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and tools
- Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks including fencing, planting, and cleaning
- Conduct general farm upkeep including weed control, soil preparation, and pest management
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and harvested products
- Follow safety protocols during all activities, including heavy lifting and equipment operation
Experience
- No education is required
- Basic knowledge of horticulture principles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and maintenance is a plus
- Experience with irrigation systems and farm equipment operation is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools used in farming activities is beneficial
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping are advantageous
- Prior experience working outdoors or in agricultural settings is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
