Job Description
Job Purpose:
Ontario Hose is seeking an individual proficient with the high quality demands of the nuclear industry.
Specifically, knowledge of the following quality procedures would be an asset: CSA N299.3, and ISO 9001:2015. In addition, knowledge of CSA B51, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX Pressure Vessel Code and TSSA would be helpful.
The Corporate Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, the above mentioned standards.
General Duties:
Quality Assurance: -Maintain and improve the corporate QA programs and QMS to meet CSA N299.3, CSA B51, and ISO 9001 requirements.
-Ensure controlled documentation, including QA Manual, procedures, forms, and records.
-Lead management reviews, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Ensure integration of nuclear‑specific requirements into corporate processes.
Data Analysis: -Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
-Use of our Hose Tracker and CRN Log Tech
-Maintain detailed records of quality control measures, inspection results, through NCR’s (Non-Conformance) and CAR’s (Corrective Actions).
Process Improvement: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements based on data-driven insights.
-Identify root causes of quality issues and assist in creating and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Communication: -Maintain clear and open communication channels with all relevant departments and stakeholders.
-Report quality-related issues and recommendations to management.
-Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Supplier Quality Management: Monitor and assess the quality of materials and components provided by suppliers.
-Assist with helping suppliers address quality issues and implement improvements.
Skills/Qualifications:
● Education: Post GED Education in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
● 5+ years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in manufacturing, nuclear, or pressure boundary environments.
● CQE ,CQA, CMQ/OE recommended
● Experience: Experience maintaining or implementing CSA N299 programs.
● Experience with CSA B51 pressure boundary fabrication/inspection.
● Experience with ISO 9001 QMS implementation and certification.
● Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and audit techniques.
● Proficient in controlled documentation and quality record management.
● Knowledge inwelding processes, NDE methods, and material traceability

Pay: $170,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
