Treasure Hill is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to gain hands-on experience across all areas of Human Resources within the real estate development and construction industry.
The Human Resources Coordinator will support the day-to-day HR operations for multiple affiliated entities and work closely with employees, managers, payroll, and leadership to ensure the effective administration of HR programs, policies, onboarding, employee relations, recruitment, and HRIS management.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, professional, confidential, and capable of managing multiple priorities while providing exceptional internal support to employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and communicating with candidates.
- Assist with preparing offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and training schedules.
- Maintain employee files and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system.
- Support payroll administration by coordinating employee information, vacation tracking, attendance records, and timesheet submissions.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee changes, and employee inquiries.
- Prepare HR letters and documentation including employment confirmations, policy acknowledgements, and disciplinary documentation.
- Support the administration and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Employee Relations & Support
- Act as a first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and provide professional and timely support.
- Assist management with employee relations matters, performance management, and documentation.
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s values and performance-driven environment.
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to sensitive employee and company information.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment standards, workplace policies, and health and safety requirements.
- Assist with HR reporting, organizational charts, headcount tracking, and workforce analytics.
- Support internal audits and ensure employee documentation is organized and up to date.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with company events, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communications.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and leadership teams as required.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, real estate development, or a fast-paced corporate environment is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (experience with Humi is considered an asset).
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Working Conditions
- Full-time, in-office position based at the Corporate Head Office in Vaughan, Ontario.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
