What We Are Looking For :
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting client engagements while ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. We’re seeking someone eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to take initiative. If you have a strong foundation in accounting and a passion for growth, we’d love to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing :
- Utilizing cutting-edge accounting and financial management systems, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Provide technical accounting assistance in processing financial transactions, bank/loan/GL account reconciliations, and various government remittances
- Collaborating with TCO’s skilled team of CPAs, you will be involved in preparing financial statements and relevant reports for our clients and other stakeholders
- Embrace feedback and mentoring from colleagues, continuously developing and improving your skills and abilities
- Participate in team activities and offer support to colleagues, helping to build a strong and cohesive work environment
What You Will Bring :
- Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field (diploma or bachelor’s degree), or active progress toward a CPA designation
- Competent in handling accounting tasks, preparing and interpreting financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and payroll preparation, with or without prior experience
- Demonstrate discretion in handling confidential information
- Effective multitasker, adept at prioritizing tasks for efficient completion
- Exceptional customer service skills, building and maintaining trusting relationships
- Self-motivated and efficient while working independently
- Quick learner, able to handle increasingly complex responsibilities
