Overview
Daan Go Cake Lab is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Production Assistant to join our bakery team.
This role is primarily responsible for keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. During quieter periods, you’ll also have the opportunity to support our production team with basic bakery and kitchen tasks.
What You’ll Do
- Wash and sanitize dishes, baking trays, tools, equipment, and kitchenware
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and safe
- Take out garbage, recycling, and maintain waste areas
- Restock clean equipment and supplies throughout the kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help keep production areas clean during and after service
- Assist the production team during downtime, including simple food preparation, portioning, packaging, labelling, organizing ingredients, and other basic bakery tasks
- Help with general kitchen duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stay organized and work efficiently without constant supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and being on your feet for extended periods
- Able to safely lift and carry kitchen supplies, trays, and equipment
- Good attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Bakery or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
- Willingness to learn is more important than previous production experience

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
