Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid top-offs efficiently and accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle needs and explain recommended services in a friendly manner.
- Support inventory management by tracking parts and supplies used during service appointments.
- Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs as skill levels grow, gaining hands-on experience.
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive mechanic experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive repair procedures.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires, batteries, or other vehicle parts.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and fluid systems.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and supporting team goals.
