Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly
- Maintain guest records and ensure data accuracy in the hotel management system
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained
- Process payments and manage billing transactions efficiently
- Assist guests with special requests, such as transportation or dining reservations
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, hospitality, and guest service at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively
- Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality industry standards
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests
- Professional appearance and demeanor with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
