Job Description:The Senior Program / Project Manager shall lead the overall coordination, integration, governance, and execution management of a transition program. The role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams, vendors, operational stakeholders, and regulatory activities while maintaining alignment to program objectives, timelines, budget, and operational readiness requirements.The Senior Program / Project Manager shall provide integrated leadership across business, operational, IT, OT, cybersecurity, facilities, and regulatory domains and act as a key escalation and decision-management point across the program.
Key Responsibilities·
- Lead day-to-day execution and coordination of the integrated transition program·
- Establish and manage integrated program governance, reporting, and escalation processes·
- Maintain the Integrated Master Program Plan, including schedule, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities·
- Coordinate activities across all workstreams, including Operational Framework, Technology & Comms, Governance & Regulatory, Facilities, Procurement, and Market & Commercial streams·
- Manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID)·
- Coordinate vendor, System Integrator, client and other stakeholder delivery activities·
- Support Steering Committee governance, executive reporting, and decision-making·
- Oversee financial tracking, budget management, forecasting, and resource planning·
- Coordinate readiness activities, integrated testing milestones, cutover planning, and go-live governance·
- Ensure alignment with operational, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements·
- Support issue resolution and recovery planning for schedule, scope, or integration risks
Required Skills & Experience·
- Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation or system integration programs· Strong program and project management experience within utilities, operational technology·
- Experience managing complex multi-vendor and cross-functional delivery environments·
- Strong understanding of integrated delivery across business, IT, OT, operational, and regulatory domains·
- Experience managing executive governance, steering committees, and senior stakeholder communications·
- Strong knowledge of:o Program governance frameworkso Integrated planning and schedulingo RAID managemento Financial tracking and forecastingo Dependency and critical path management·
- Experience coordinating operational readiness, testing, cutover, and transition activities· Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution capabilities·
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure operational transformation environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting utility operational transformation, ISO/RTO programs, control centre initiatives, or grid modernization programs·
- Familiarity with NERC CIP, operational reliability requirements, or utility operational governance models·
- Experience supporting EMS/SCADA, operational technology, or mission-critical operational environments·
- Experience supporting large operational cutovers or control room transition programs
Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
