Overview
We are seeking a friendly , Mature and attentive Bartender Server to join our team. This role combines serving food and preparation of beverages with providing exceptional customer service in a local casual restaurant bar environment . The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties
- Take and serve drink and food orders accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Use POS systems efficiently to process orders, payments, and cashiering transactions
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through excellent customer service
- Handle multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating effective time management skills
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
- Must be personable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
