Position: Human Resources Generalist
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Role
The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day delivery of HR programs and services across Lammle’s Western Wear. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role provides hands-on support throughout the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, benefits and payroll support, performance management, compliance, and offboarding. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level HR professional with strong administrative skills, sound judgment, and experience using ADP Workforce Now.
Responsibilities

Support full-cycle recruitment, including postings, screening, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment requirements.

Coordinate onboarding for a smooth, organized, and welcoming start.

Maintain accurate, current, confidential employee records in ADP Workforce Now.

Provide first-level HR support to employees and managers, escalating complex matters as needed.

Assist with employee relations through information gathering, documentation, correspondence, and policy support.

Support performance management, including reviews, follow-up documentation, and improvement plans.

Assist with payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and HRIS administration in ADP Workforce Now.

Prepare HR documents, including employment letters, status changes, policy acknowledgements, discipline, and termination paperwork.

Support leaves, accommodations, and return-to-work documentation with the Human Resources Manager.

Assist with training coordination, policy communication, engagement initiatives, and HR projects.

Support offboarding, including resignations, exit documents, final paperwork, and file updates.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive employee information.
Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Entry-level HR experience acceptable, with exposure to recruitment, onboarding, payroll/benefits, employee relations, or HR administration.

ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred.

Exposure to the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, performance support, leaves, and offboarding.

Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Office; retail or multi-location experience considered an asset.

Ability to travel, has a reliable vehicle and valid driver license.

Preferred Experience

Retail, apparel, or multi-location business experience is considered an asset.

Previous exposure to recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, or HR administration.

Working Conditions

Office-based role with regular computer and phone use.

Will require occasional support outside regular business hours during peak retail periods or urgent employee matters.

This role will involve communication with store teams, warehouse teams, and corporate office employees across multiple locations.
