Experienced Float Truck Driver – Paving Company
We are seeking an experienced Float Truck Driver to join our paving team. The successful candidate will have proven experience transporting and safely loading/unloading a variety of heavy construction and paving equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Load, secure, and unload equipment according to safety regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Ensure all required permits, documentation, and logbooks are maintained.
- Work closely with supervisors and equipment operators to coordinate deliveries.
Equipment Experience Required:
- Rubber-tire backhoe
- Skid steer
- Asphalt rollers
- Asphalt pavers
- Curb machines
- Road grinders/milling machines
- Other heavy construction and paving equipment
Qualifications:
- Valid DZ /AZ driver's license (as applicable).
- Experience operating float trucks and trailers.
- Knowledge of proper load securement and transportation regulations.
- Ability to safely load and unload heavy equipment independently.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours when required.
