Working as part of a team, actively service, maintain, and help grow both commercial and personal lines book of business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- The focus will be to service the book of business, with the option to also earn additional commission for any new business sales you bring to the brokerage
- Manage all aspects of the customer life cycle from quote to renewal, endorsements, remarkets and cancellations.
- Promptly respond to client, carrier, and colleague inquiries.
- Conduct detailed reviews of risk and underwriting information to ensure accuracy and optimal insurance solutions for your clients.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
- Recognize and realize sales opportunities where it makes sense.
- Take new claim reports and submit them to the insurance carrier.
- Diligent follow up on clients’ accounts to ensure outstanding issues and activities are resolved.
- Help create a customer-first mindset and culture.
Qualifications
- Must be RIBO licensed.
- Minimum 2 years Commercial Lines and Personal Lines Broker experience
- Proven track record servicing a book of business.
- Remain current and develop expertise in assigned markets and stay open to new market opportunities.
- Working knowledge of Applied EPIC, an asset
