Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The St Joes location is based out of St Joseph's Catholic School on John Street N. We offer Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.
We require Supply Staff beginning as soon as possible to work on an on-call basis up to 8 hours per day. The rate of pay is $18.15 per hour plus 4% holiday pay.
These hours have the ability to qualify for $2.00/hour WEG (Wage Enhancement Grant) as well.
For this ongoing position, ADCCS requires:
Requirements:
- Experience with young children
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
- Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health
- WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certificates)
Recommended:
- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH
Considered an Asset:
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
- Experience with children with special needs
- Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)
