Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diamond Drillers to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to extract diamond core samples, supporting exploration work currently underway at the site in Western Newfoundland. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in Mining, Construction, or Oil & Gas industries, and familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a focus on precision and safety.
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Remote site, Western Newfoundland

Duties
- Operate diamond drilling machinery to extract core samples for various projects (Hole Depths: 25 m – 350 m - NQ-sized core)
- Maintain and troubleshoot drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with setup and calibration of drilling tools and machinery
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Support drilling operations as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities and equipment usage
Experience
- Experience with NQ diamond drilling
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in remote environments
- Strong work ethic and commitment to daily targets
- Valid certifications as required for drilling operations
- Team-first attitude and readiness for a 2/2 rotation
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy machinery and industrial sites
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adhere to strict safety standards
- Experience working on an exploration site considered an asset

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
