IT Project Manager
Our client is looking for an IT Project Manager to help coordinate, document, and drive internal IT and business systems projects across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, strong with documentation, comfortable working with both business and technical teams, and able to bring structure to cross-functional projects involving ERP, CRM, reporting, workflow automation, and Microsoft 365 tools. The role will also involve supporting projects where AI can be integrated into business processes.
About the Role
The IT Project Manager will act as the central point of coordination between internal stakeholders, IT resources, system owners, vendors, consultants, and external contractors.
The successful candidate will help ensure that internal business systems projects are properly planned, approved, documented, tested, implemented, and transitioned to support. While this person may not be the technical owner of every system, they will be responsible for keeping projects moving with clear scope, timelines, responsibilities, communication, documentation, and follow-through.

- Other internal business applications, integrations, reporting tools, and workflow automation platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal IT and business systems projects from initiation through completion
- Support project sponsors with business cases, project proposals, timelines, scope, risks, and ROI considerations
- Build and maintain project plans, action registers, decision logs, issue logs, implementation checklists, and project documentation
- Coordinate project resources across IT, Finance, Sales, Operations, HR, Engineering, Customer Success, vendors, and external partners
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and post-implementation reviews
- Track progress, risks, blockers, dependencies, scope changes, and resource constraints
- Gather, clarify, and document business requirements, workflows, data flows, acceptance criteria, and system interactions
- Support process improvement initiatives focused on workflow efficiency, reporting, automation, data quality, and system adoption
- Coordinate vendor and contractor deliverables, timelines, meetings, testing, internal feedback, and handoff requirements
- Support user acceptance testing, test scripts, issue tracking, business sign-off, training, go-live readiness, and post-launch support
- Maintain organized documentation repositories using Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools
- Provide clear project status updates to management and stakeholders, including progress, risks, decisions required, and upcoming milestones
Typical Projects
The IT Project Manager may support projects related to:
- ERP enhancements, reporting improvements, integrations, and module implementations
- Salesforce and Expedite Commerce workflow, quoting, ordering, billing, and integration projects
- Codeless BPA and other workflow automation initiatives
- Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, data models, and reporting improvements
- Microsoft Dynamics HR configuration, workflows, and reporting
- Microsoft 365 automation, SharePoint restructuring, Teams collaboration, and Power Automate projects
- Jira and Confluence workflow implementation and process documentation
- Finance automation, AR/AP automation, and reporting enhancements
- Data migration, data cleanup, business process standardization, and vendor-led implementations
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT project coordination, IT project management, business systems project management, ERP project support, business analysis, or a similar role
- Experience coordinating cross-functional business systems or technology projects
- Strong documentation, organization, meeting facilitation, and follow-up skills
- Experience working with external vendors, consultants, or contractors
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear project plans, workflows, tasks, and acceptance criteria
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Planner, Lists, OneNote, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRIS, reporting, workflow automation, or integration platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Syspro ERP
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Expedite Commerce
- Experience with Codeless BPA or similar integration/workflow automation tools
- Experience with Power BI, dashboards, reporting, or data models
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics HR or other HRIS platforms
- Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Experience supporting AI-integrated projects or identifying opportunities to apply AI in business processes
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial technology, SaaS, IoT, or multi-entity business environments
- Familiarity with UAT, data mapping, process mapping, change management, and system implementation lifecycles
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, Lean, or business analysis certification would be considered an asset

Pay: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
