Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including ductwork, structural components, and assembly tasks in a dynamic production environment. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of fabricated components, utilizing various welding techniques and tools.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials according to detailed schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision
- Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment for cutting and shaping metal components
- Execute rigging tasks to position heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts when necessary
- Conduct machining operations as needed for component fabrication or finishing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving schematics, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding (MIG ) with a strong understanding of welding symbols and blueprint reading
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, and construction processes
- Ability to operate machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, forklifts, cranes, and hand tools
- Familiarity with rigging techniques, machining operations, and use of calipers for precise measurements
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards related to ductwork, structural steel, or construction components is preferred
- Ability to work safely around power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in quality control inspections
- Prior experience with schematics or technical drawings is highly desirable

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
