Senior Architect
Location: Greater Montréal Area (Hybrid)

Our client, a respected and growing architectural practice, is seeking a
Senior Architect to join its leadership team. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed architect who enjoys leading complex projects, mentoring teams, and building strong client relationships while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee projects from planning and design through construction, ensuring successful project delivery while providing guidance and support to internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership & Management
- Lead architectural projects of varying size, complexity, and scope from inception through completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinate internal team members, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, presentations, and progress reviews.
- Oversee project documentation, communication, and team workflows.
Technical Leadership
- Direct and supervise technical production throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate closely with consultants and construction teams to address technical challenges and maintain project momentum.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Participate in contract administration and construction-phase services to support successful project execution.
- Champion best practices in BIM coordination and technical standards.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and project partners.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project discussions, document key decisions, and ensure alignment between project objectives and deliverables.
- Support a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness.
Team Development
- Provide mentorship and guidance to architects, interns, and technical staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Support professional growth and knowledge-sharing across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Architect with the OAQ (Ordre des architectes du Québec).
- Minimum 6 years of architectural project leadership and coordination experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, technical detailing, and project delivery processes.
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of BIM methodologies and sustainable design practices, including LEED principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
